inspired by hatred and pity
the misguided had thrown
a hollow darkness upon a Great City

and drew all those of kind heart
to be of one mind, resolved
to defy the wicked
avenge those taken by darkness

and made a nation of men
resolve to unite
to remember the fallen
to harden the heart
